Les vins de Bremerton
Histoire
L'historique région viticole australienne de Langhorne Creek a été colonisée dans les années 1850, et le vin a rapidement suivi lorsque l'ancien charpentier de marine anglais Frank Potts a planté les premiers raisins ici. Dans les années 1980, Craig et Mignonne Willson se sont installés, attirés par les promesses viticoles de la région, et ont acheté les 40 hectares de Bremerton Lodge, qui était alors exploité comme une ferme de luzerne. La famille a planté ses premières vignes en 1991 et possède maintenant 120 hectares de vignes dont s'occupent les filles des Wilson, Rebecca et Sarah.

Vins élaborés à partir de parcelles sélectionnées sur le domaine. Chaque parcelle est vinifiée séparément pour donner au vigneron Rebecca un contrôle maximal sur l'assemblage, les meilleures parcelles bénéficiant d'un vieillissement supplémentaire en barrique avant l'assemblage. La période de vieillissement typique est de 24 mois en fûts de chêne américain à grain extra fin, suivie de 12 autres mois de vieillissement en bouteille.
